John Otwell

Executive Director

John joined the Cornerstone team after having spent 20+ years performing Subsea Robotics Engineering and Vessel Management all over the world. He has taken those professional skills and applied them to serving the Lord, others, and our community through Cornerstone Restoration. His hope is to share the abundant and reckless love of Christ with all those the Lord allows him to serve.

During his work abroad John has been to just about every continent and seen some of the best and the worst each of them have to offer, always finding the best place on earth right back here with his family and friends in the Hill Country of Texas.

John has a beautiful wife, Christina, and two beautiful daughters, Afton and Lillian. John has a deep desire to know the Lord better and spends much of his time in extended education and opportunities through his church, Austin Ridge Bible Church. John enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, riding his motorcycles - pretty much anything outdoors.

Kristin Coovrey

Administrative & Operations Coordinator

Kristin is originally from Minnesota but has called Texas home for over 20 years. She moved from Houston to Austin in 2016, and in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, she felt the Lord’s calling to volunteer in disaster relief. That experience led to a seven-year career in a non-profit disaster response ministry, where she took on roles in training coordination, volunteer and donations management, accounting and operations.  With a lifelong heart for missions, Kristin developed a deep dependence on the Lord through serving on short-term mission trips to Honduras and being actively involved in local ministries. After volunteering with Cornerstone Restoration and joining them on a mission trip to Reynosa, she felt the Lord’s call to step into her current role as Administration and Operations Coordinator. She is excited to see how the Lord is going to work through her as she serves with volunteers to share the love of Christ to others in and around the greater Austin community.

Kristin has been happily married to Chris for nearly 35 years, and together they have three children: Genevieve, Liliana, and Jack. A fun fact about her is that she and her husband are certified SCUBA diving instructors and love exploring the underwater world. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cruising, reading, and most of all spending quality time with her family.

Teresa Revels

Volunteer & Donor Relations Manager

Teresa has had several professional positions that have strategically prepared her for serving the Lord in this higher calling at Cornerstone Restoration. Teresa has a wonderful daughter (Hannah) and son in law (Chris), with one grand-baby (Riley) and another on the way! Teresa has served with Cornerstone Restoration for years and has seen firsthand the impact the Lord’s Ministry has on the community and the volunteers who He has called to serve said community. Teresa has a heart for service, and a head for business, making her a significant force for building the Lord’s Kingdom here locally!  Joining the CR team has allowed Teresa to combine her professional skills and personal passions to care for the Kingdom of God!

Lisa Antonishek

Care Director

Lisa, a native Michigander, dedicated over a decade to caring for, equipping, and supporting others. As a community and school counselor, she focused on guiding and uplifting students and families. Her church involvement in care and prayer ministry allowed her to witness God’s work through her and others.

In 2015, Lisa’s journey took a transformative turn as she felt called to missions in Spain. For six incredible years, she counseled, taught the middle school Bible, and facilitated student leadership, striving to make a meaningful impact by sharing Jesus with everyone she met.

In 2021, Lisa moved to Texas, where she treasures time with her four daughters, sons-in-law, and ten grandchildren. In early 2024, she began volunteering with Cornerstone Restoration, attending the Reynosa serve trip, and volunteering as a consultant to help develop the care team program.

Lisa is thrilled to join the Cornerstone Restoration team. She looks forward to bringing her experience and heartfelt dedication to the mission, grateful to be part of a team building and equipping others to walk alongside neighbors-in-need, shining the light of Jesus into the world.
