MISSION PARTNER:
RED OAK HOPE
Red Oak Hope is an organization dedicated to bringing freedom, hope, and restoration to survivors of sexual exploitation. They work to stop trafficking and exploitation on a large scale while simultaneously providing holistic care to individuals and communities already affected.
Red Oak addresses this complex issue with a holistic model combining immediate aid with long-term development to support both individuals in need and communities at large. They do this by focusing on prevention, intervention, and restoration, all within the framework of partnership.
WHY WE PARTNER
We partner with other nonprofit organizations whose missions we support, in order to accelerate the work they do by taking on the effort, time, and resources needed to accomplish projects for them and their clientele.
“We're so grateful to partner with Cornerstone! When needs arise that require skills and labor beyond the staff's capacity, we know we can reach out to Cornerstone! They've come through in huge ways for us, from painting an entire house to clearing out trees to being available when an emergency need arises. Knowing we can reach out to them for just about anything is a blessing that's such a gift and stress reliever. It allows us to stay fully committed to our mission.”
- Heather Moga, Red Oak Program Development Staff
SERVING at RED OAK HOPE
Serve Days at Red Oak Hope include small construction projects, upkeep, and work on the grounds. They are scheduled on an as-needed basis, and are posted on our Serve Days page where you can sign up to serve.
All volunteers serving here will be asked to complete a background check for the safety of the clients whom Red Oak serves and for protection of our volunteers. All background checks are subject to review and approval by Cornerstone.
